Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza is an amazing actress who has left a lasting impression on the small screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession in the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for long and soon moved into Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, including independent local commercials as well as films. Small roles didn't deter her from discovering she was a fan of acting. She relocated in New York. Her first gig was in the soap-opera All My Children. Throughout the early 2000s she had small parts on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in 2004 on the brief drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Plegge. Her most memorable character was in 2006's Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. In the course of a limited period, she was transferred onto Law & Order: LA. Her character received numerous nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. She won an Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performances in a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time after. She was cast in the role of Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. The most recent television appearance was with NBC's rather dramatic dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was eventually cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and has a 10 year old younger brother called Cory. She grew up in a family that was conservative and very religious. Milano started her acting career at the age of seven old. Babysitters took her to her first audition. Four girls were selected from more than a thousand applicants. Milano appeared in TV commercials as well as off Broadway programs, such as the American first adaptation musical of Jane Eyre.
